Google Unveils Gemini 3 AI with New Features

Google unveiled its latest artificial intelligence model, Gemini 3, on Tuesday, showcasing new capabilities aimed at improving its products. The model is available immediately in revenue-generating services, including Google’s search engine. This marks a significant shift from past updates, which took longer to be integrated into key consumer products. CEO Sundar Pichai called Gemini 3 “our most intelligent model” in a company blog post.

Gemini 3 follows just 11 months after the release of the second generation. Google executives highlighted that it currently leads in several industry benchmarks, maintaining the company’s competitive edge in the AI space. This brings Google closer to its vision of a “universal assistant,” which could become an essential part of users’ daily lives. Additionally, Google redesigned the Gemini app to deliver answers that resemble a full website, challenging traditional content publishers who rely on web traffic for revenue.

The new AI model also enhances capabilities in coding and reasoning, further expanding its usefulness for both consumers and enterprise customers. For paying subscribers, Gemini 3 offers an AI-powered search feature that replaces traditional search results with computer-generated answers to complex queries. This launch highlights Google’s commitment to integrating advanced AI into its most important products, reshaping the future of digital interactions.
